COMPANY HISTORY
The All Trades Abseiling (ATA) business began in 1991, though it was originally registered under the name, Sydney High Glass, and primarily focused on high-rise window cleaning. However with the increasing demand for rope access remedial building repairs and with our trade background, in the 2000’s, it was decided that a name change was needed to better reflect our building credentials.
During the early 1990’s, most industrial rope access work was for window cleaning only and with quick growth in the industry, in 1993 the Work Cover Authority issued “Guidelines for Abseil based Window cleaning systems”. This included criteria and standards for all equipment and operators. On inspection, it was found that ATA’s safety procedures and standards were already compliant with these new guidelines.
As the demand grew for more economical methods of carrying out various forms of building maintenance and repair work, ATA was able to draw on its years of building experience and rope access skills to successfully carry out many different types of maintenance work such as:
ATA’s systems and work methods now in place are extremely safe and efficient. Often, costly heavy machinery such as: cherry pickers, scissor lifts, knuckle booms and swing stages or scaffolding can be replaced by ATA’s rope access methods.

The issue of safety is of paramount importance to ATA’s management and staff. All procedures and work methods employed by ATA include more than the usual safety precautions. Comprehensive safety training is an integral part of our operations.
We are proud of our accident free record and we work hard to maintain this status via; training, monitoring, regular equipment checks and safe work methods. Stringent measures are also taken to ensure all our operations comply with current WorkSafe requirements and Work Cover Authority legislation.
